Rev. Dr. Margaret Fowler is the Minister of the Hope United Church.

Rev. Dr. Fowler is a lady of deep thought and compassion with special interest in the needs of the youth of this country.

She is a graduate of the United Theological College of the West Indies and of the Columbia Theological Seminary, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and Doctor of Ministry respectively.

Rev. Dr. Fowler has over 20 years of extensive service in the fields of Social Work, Community Development, Pastoral Care, Substance Abuse Counselling and Clinical Pastoral Counselling.

She has been recognized by institutions for her stellar contribution to nation building and more notably her feature in the Bureau of Women's Affairs 2010 Feature on Outstanding Women.

Rev. Dr. Fowler has conducted extensive research in the field of Human Trafficking and was the founder of the Theodora Project, to reach young women in the community of Negril, Jamaica.

She is a lover of technology, and keeps up to date with current trends. She is always seen buzzing away with her laptop, or her BlackBerry or playing her favourite game on her IPad, Angry Birds.

She enjoys reading, adores classical music and enjoys blogging.

Her language ranges include Classical Greek, Biblical Hebrew, Spanish and English.

Her call is to exercise Pastoral Ministry and Mission, to be continually aware of God's calling and is willing to 'step into the darkness and unknown without fear'.
